Garden Album |
I got a call about a month ago from a writer working for Utah Valley Magazine who saw this blog and wanted to do a story on gardening in the valley. As part of that discussion, I set up a Google photo album so she could see some of my favorite photos of my gardens. I’ve decided to include that as a link on the sidebar, but you can also click the photo here to see it.
Looking at stuff like this makes me feel good about being a gardener! Don’t you feel that way when you look at photos of your garden at its best? There’s a sense of joy for the physical creation of something beautiful. Having a job that deals with ideas and concepts creates a need for an physically creative outlet. I can’t tell you how many people I’ve heard that from, whether they’re accountants, lobbyists, lawyers, or computer programmers. People have a need for physical creation and many turn to gardening, woodworking, or other creative hobbies to fill that need.
